Multifunctional Optical Crystals for All-Solid-State Raman Lasers

In the past few decades, multifunctional optical crystals for all-solid-state Raman lasers have been widely studied by many scholars due to their compactness, convenience and excellent performance. this review, we briefly show two kinds of crystals: self-Raman (laser effects) self-frequency-doubled (frequency-doubling crystals. We firstly introduce properties laser crystals, including vanadate, tungstate, molybdate silicate doped with rare earth ions, as well KTiOAsO4 (KTA) BaTeMo2O9 (BTM). Additionally, domestic international progress in research on is summarized continuous wave, passively Q-switched, actively Q-switched mode-locked regimes.
